There is no clear information about the new 2017 Toyota Tundra design. It seems that there will be the same grille at the front of it, but with the new fenders, headlights, hood and bumpers. Even that sounds as the great changes, it will be only in some details with not much expectations in that area. So, don’t expect a big difference in this car exterior look.

Interior

Well, according to the outside look, we can expect some small changes in its inside look. There will surely be some high-tech ads, like on the other Toyota’s cars – 6.1-inch touchscreen display, HD radio and Bluetooth connectivity, 4G LTE internet. Don’t worry about its comfort and luxury, because Toyota has allowed interesting details in that area, too, like leather seats, highly refined and redesigned, dash covers in top grades and some rumors said it will have a special 1749 edition in retro wild-west theme and very small details. And for your safety, Toyota has made a blind spot monitors, cross-traffic alerts, and some other safety systems.

The one thing is for sure, that the new 2017 Toyota Tundra will be equipped with a few engine versions. The basic model will have a 4.6 liter V8 engine for 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque. That’s only a beginning. The higher version will have 5.7-liter V8 engine for 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque and finally, there will be one mid-size version in between those two with 5.0-liter turbo diesel V8 engine with 300 horsepower and even 500 pound-feet of torque. Those engines meet two demands – big towing capacity and minimized fuel economy. Some measured numbers show the only 13 – 19 mpg which is very small for this size of the car. Including the two and all-wheel driving system, we can expect lots of different versions of the 2017 Toyota Tundra, which will effect on the price, too.
