The 2019 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor comes as a range-topping trim released shortly before the announced overhaul of the model coming up next year. It offers quite a few upgrades, such as a new set of forged-aluminum wheels as well as couple of features that will improve overall performance.
The powertrain, however, is unchanged, meaning the F-150 Raptor is fitted exclusively with a 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering a total of 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque and is coupled with an electronic six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the new Raptor reduces the F-150’s total weight by making extensive use of lightweight aluminum and high-strength steel materials.
Exterior and Interior
The 2019 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is built on the famed Atlas concept, featuring a front fascia with a distinct three-bar grille flanked by revised headlamps including LED inserts. Also, integrated LED fog lights flank the grille on either end of the bumper.
At the rear end, the model introduces new taillights and LED lighting placed within the bed. The tailgate now includes a more prominent spoiler and revised foldable/stowable step for easier access. It also offers an electronic-operated tailgate.
The distinct badging on the grille, as well as the black chrome, are all details carried over from the standard model. In addition, the flared fenders add an extra edge to the SVT Raptor’s imposing look, however, they are also lifted from the standard model.
Inside the cabin, consumer are offered a functional dashboard trimmed in soft-touch materials. Technology wise, the interior includes upgraded SYNC system, while MyFord Touch and an 8-inch “productivity screen” in the instrument cluster are all made available.
Capping it all off, Ford introduced 400-watt and 110-volt outlets in the cabin, eight-inch LCD productivity screen that shows that displays important items, such as towing and fuel economy information.
The supportive five seats are covered with black and Mojave leather providing heating and cooling functions, plus a 10-way power adjustment and Ford’s multicontour massaging. The rear seats are also heated.
Under the hood, the 2019 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is fitted with a a 6.2-liter V8 engine cranking out 411 horsepower and a peak torque of 434 lbs-ft. The engine comes paired with the same 6-speed automatic transmission as in the base level trim. Just like the last time, Ford made available a tow/haul mode and SelectShift Automatic functionality. As announced, Ford expects the new powertrain will reduce the fuel consumption by as much as 10 percent, or even more.

We can expect to see the 2019 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor arrive at dealerships sometime in the fall of 2015. The pricing will likely begin from around $40,000.
