2020 Ford Bronco – What we know so far

Another revival can be expected from the Ford brand and it will be the new 2020 Ford Bronco model. It will largely resemble the next-generation Ranger, but also appear with lots of improved features and new powertrain options.

Exterior

It can be said that the new 2020 Ford Bronco will find its inspiration for the exterior design in the original 1966 Bronco. Keeping this ‘old-school’, retro and recognizable look, the new Bronco will as well follow the trends of the next-generation SUVs and undergo some changes and improvements. As we have already mentioned, this off-road vehicle can be compared to the next-generation Ranger, but also to the F-150 model, especially in the front fascia. It will keep the well-known boxy and powerful look and get a slightly redesigned grille with a horizontal bar on it. There will also be round headlights and a massive bumper similar to the one seen on the F-150. The new Bronco will also be standing on new large set of wheels wrapped in tires for various types of terrains and weather conditions. It will probably be available as a two-door and four-door configuration.

Interior

Inside the 2020 Ford Bronco you will find a simple and modern cabin, also reminding of the one seen in the Ford Ranger. It is also expected that the new Bronco will use high-quality materials to furnish the interior and this will probably depend on the trim you choose. It will be comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate five passengers and provide plenty of headroom and legroom. The dashboard and the instrument cluster will also be upgraded with lots of next-generation hi-tech options and equipped with a large touch screen for the latest infotainment system. It will include features such as satellite navigation, climate control, satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity and other phone options as well as numerous safety and driver assist systems.

Engine

It has not been confirmed yet what the 2020 Ford Bronco will be hiding under its hood, but two engine options have been considered. The first of them comes with a 2.7-liter Eco Boost V-6 that will be able to deliver 325 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque. The other possible version includes a 3.5-liter Eco Boost V-6 that is expected to produce 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. It is perhaps too early to talk about the other numbers and outputs, but the new Bronco is expected to be mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission while a six-speed manual has also been anticipated.

2020 Ford Bronco Release Date and Price

Since the new Ford Bronco will hit the market as a 2020 model, it is too early to talk about the price details. However, the estimated price range is $30,000 – $45,000, depending on the trim you choose. It will probably appear in the showrooms in late 2019.
