Exterior

Ford Ranger uses a Ford Atlas Platform which is already redesigned for the last model of Ranger. That means more aggressive and muscle truck, which is usual for big size truck. The materials used in making it are aluminum and steel, which provides a solid but light weight car, lighter than the last model. At the front of it is new and changed grille, new chassis, improved for a new generation of the car and new bumpers. Besides that are sharper LED headlights and taillights, which makes more ambient light, so modern and futuristic. Thanks to wide wheel base it’s a car for more luggage and cargo space.

Interior

The redesign has undergone a cabin, too. Even the previous model has the same luxurious and roomy cabin, new 2017 Ranger offer more comfort and feeling of elegance. There are more leg and head room, on the comfort seats made of fabric material, where will wait for a screens on the back for passengers on back seats. It seems that Ford thought on families with children. The infotainment system and technology are expected and include Bluetooth connectivity, wireless phone charging, traffic control system, air conditioning system, climate control system, modern infotainment system with all safety features good enough for five-star security rating. It includes a park assist and a rear camera.

Engine

2017 Ford Ranger will offer three engine options. First is 3.2-liter four cylinder TDC for 197 horsepower of strength. Fuel economy for this engine is only 21 mpg. The second option is 2.2-liter TDC Duratorq with 158 horsepower and 22 mpg and the third is 2.5-liter Duratec engine with direct injection. This engine is strong for 163 horsepower. All engines will be paired with six-speed automatic transmission.

It’s expected to see the 2017 Ford Ranger somewhere in the middle of 2016 but only in US market, for the price of $20,000 for the basic model, but be prepared for the number of $50,000 in higher trim versions.
