After more than a decade, Ford decided that’s about time to make some significant changes in terms of power train and design. 2018 Ford F-750 is a medium-duty truck with impressive hauling capacity of 37,000 pounds. Exterior and Interior
Since it’s been over a decade ago when last major facelift was performed, 2018 Ford F-750 simply had to undergo redesign procedures. Let’s start from a front fascia. We can see there a redesigned massive chrome grille with four parallel horizontal bars and large air intakes between them. On the lateral side of front grille are two large holes that might look like nostrils on the face of F-750. Massive bumper has also openings for air flow. Headlights got some aerodynamics characteristics and they are equipped with LED lights. Fenders are now more angular than before. Interior of the 2018 Ford F-750 gives impression of simplicity, since this is primary a working truck. Yet, soft touch materials, adjustable steering, adjustable seats, front reading lamps and air conditioning system are here to make working in this vehicle a pleasure. There will also be AM/FM Stereo, MP3 Player audio system, navigation system, trip computer, cruise control, 110-volt outlet, but without infotainment features, because this vehicle was designed for work. On the other hand, safety features will ensure safe ride and hauling. Inside of the cabin are air bags, a 4 wheel disc brake system with aim to prevent slipping, electric horn and air horn for preventing accidents, side mirror indicators etc.
Engine
In new Ford F-750 two engine types are available. You might find interesting a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 turbo diesel engine. The standard output of this engine is 270 horsepower and 675 lb-ft of torque; next level of output is 300 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. Lastly the max output for the F-750’s 6.7-liter Power Stroke is 330 horsepower and 725 pound-feet of torque.
