2018 Nissan Titan Review and Price

The 2018 Nissan Titan is a second generation full-sized Titan pickup truck that comes as a radically overhauled model featuring a high-strength frame which supports an all-new body and the powerful 5.0-liter Cummins V8 turbodiesel. The model will be offered as both the regular Titan and the more robust Titan XD, which will be able to tow more than 12,000 pounds and haul more than 2,000 pounds in its bed. Among the novelties are a host of convenience upgrades such as Nissan’s Around View Monitor system, along with an in-bed, removable storage system, and a cabin with expanded storage spots and ergonomic controls.

The 2018 Nissan Titan features a totally restyled look when compared to the outgoing pickup with only the corporate grille and side mirrors having any resemblance to the predecessor.

Muscular fenders front and rear give the truck a bold, wide stance, while the huge front fascia of the Titan XD wears a chrome mesh grille with the “TITAN” embossed across the top.

Side vents above the front tires act as functional heat extractors and optional 17-, 18-, and 20-inch wheels are offered, while the side running boards extend past the cab for an easy step up into the bed.

Around back, new taillights add extra visual appeal while the tailgate gets a small spoiler lip and an accent crease along its mid section.

Inside the cabin, wood accents complement the steering wheel, dashboard, and door panels while upscale French-stitched leather covers the rest of the cabin. Two-tone leather seats with perforated and quilted seat bottoms offer heating and cooling functions.

The dual-hue dashboard features controls that offer the driver a clean sweep of things. Also, the center console features a 15-inch laptop while still offering cup holders for front and rear passengers.

Performance features include a new off-road screen, while a 12-speaker Rockford Fosgate system keeps provides crisp sound. To cap it all off, Nissan’s “Zero Gravity” front seats and limo-like rear legroom keep the occupants comfortable.

2018 Nissan Titan Powertrain

The 2018 Nissan Titan is equipped under the hood with a 5.0-liter Cummins V-8 turbodiesel. Delivering 310 horsepower at 3,200 rpm and 555 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm, the engine can tow more than 12,000 pounds on the integrated hitch plus the weight of the truck and its passengers.

It comes paired with a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission with manual shift controls. The Titan is offered in both two- and four-wheel drive with an optional electronic locking rear differential.

The 2018 Nissan Titan is expect to come out by the end of 2017. The pricing is likely to begin from around $35,000 for the base level trim.
