If we can say what’s the real novelty for 2018 Toyota Tacoma is surely new body style, completely different from older regular cab look. It’s new extended cab (already known as Access Cab) and also a crew cab (usually called Double Cab) in one. This car, even it’s the same as the old, 2005 model, it fulfills the handful and cute, small pickup truck market, practically empty for the last couple of years.

Speaking about the small pickup truck, there is not much on the market in 2018. Together with 2018 Chevrolet Colorado and 2018 GMC Canyon and maybe 2018 Nissan Frontier, there are not a real small car with a purpose and view of this. Even that, 2018 Toyota Tacoma offers the same features and capabilities as the big and aggressive truck on the market.
